ABOUT US
We believe that every kid deserves an opportunity to pursue their dreams, regardless of background, gender, race, or financial status. When those dreams pertain specifically to soccer we knew there was something we could do to help. With this in mind we decided to start an organization that will create sponsorship opportunities for soccer players in the Central Valley. Applicants who come from low-income families can receive sponsorship for elite trainings, club and/or camp fees, equipment and other special opportunities. Our goal is to spread our love of this beautiful game while making sure that every kid receives the best possible chance of achieving their soccer-related dreams.
THE FOUNDER
Villyan Bijev
Villyan was born in Sofia, Bulgaria in 1993. His family immigrated to California in 1998 where Villyan began playing soccer. He spent his youth playing for various local elementary schools and clubs. For Junior High Villyan went to Computech Middle School. He continued on to Edison High School for three years before transferring to Clovis North. After graduating high school in 2011 Villyan moved to Europe to begin his professional career which he continues to pursue. "The reason behind naming the organization the Passback Foundation is for exactly that reason. My goal is to give back to the community that helped me achieve my dreams and more importantly sculpt me into the person that I am today. I have played soccer in the Central Valley ever since moving there from Bulgaria in 1998. Coming from an immigrant family I know the financial strain that occurs when kids participate in extra curricular activities. It is now my turn to give back to the community that has given so much to me." - Villyan Bijev
